Daniel Etiese Benson, known professionally as BNXN (pronounced Benson, and formerly as Buju), is a Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, songwriter, and record producer. He rose to prominence in the early 2020s with his smooth vocal style and compelling songwriting, often blending Afrobeats with elements of dancehall and R&B. After gaining significant attention with collaborations and EPs like “Sorry I’m Late” and “Bad Since ’97,” he released his debut album “Sincerely, Benson” in 2023, and most recently, “CAPTAIN” in July 2025. BNXN is recognized for his unique sound and his ability to craft both reflective and upbeat tracks.
