Alex Warren (born Alexander Warren Hughes on September 18, 2000, in Carlsbad, California) is an American folk-pop singer-songwriter, guitarist, and former social-media influencer. He emerged as a founding member of TikTok’s Hype House and became known on YouTube before shifting focus to music. After independently releasing emotional tracks in 2021, like his debut single “One More I Love You,” he signed with Atlantic Records in 2022. Warren hit the Billboard Hot 100 with “Burning Down” in 2024, and in 2025 achieved global success with the heartfelt hit “Ordinary,” which topped charts for weeks in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
Drawing on personal experiences—including losing his father, facing homelessness, and his faith—his music explores themes of loss, resilience, and hope. He’s married to former Hype House member Kouvr Annon (June 2024), and has since led sold-out tours, blending emotional lyricism with intimate folk-pop melodies.
